TRACK AND FIELD – HIGH JUMP NOTICE 2025

Parents/Guardians,

Your child has been selected to compete in the high jump event during the track and field season this Spring. The track meet date is June 3rd but due to weather and city equipment rentals we have often been forced to cancel the high jump portion of the event after the students have trained for weeks. To avoid this disappointment, we are hosting the high jump event INDOORS on a different day.

The high jump date will be as follows:

Wednesday, May 28^th AT SANDY HILL ELEMENTARY

Grade 5 Girls @ 3:15 - 4:25pm

Grade 5 Boys @ 4:30 - 5:30pm

Students will need private transportation to this event, and it is expected that a parent or caretaker will stay with the student and watch the event. This is not a “drop off” situation.

The event could take more time than one hour per grade but we will do our best to be efficient as we understand families have other commitments.
