Break The Rules Day Fundraiser

We are having a 'Break the Rules Day' to help raise funds for the Grade 5 year-end field trips and events. Students can pay $1 to break one of the nine predetermined school ‘rules’. There is also a bonus rule where students can buy out of class for an extra 15-minute recess for $5.

Parents can purchase the number of rules their child will break through School Cash Online from Monday May 11th to Thursday, May 21st. Alternatively, students can bring cash on Friday. Teachers will ask students on Friday which rules students have paid to break. This is a fun way for the whole school to support our Grade 5 students as they prepare to move on.

Rules for Break the Rules Day:
• Wear a hat in class
• Use pen to do work, not pencil
• Chew gum
• Wear pajamas
• Wear slippers
• Bring a stuffie
• Sit where you want in class (as long as you are respectful)
• Change your name (but wear a name tag)
• Enter a draw for a Lego set
• Extra recess (outside for an extra 15 minutes before actual recess starts) - $5
